On admission, the group with a renal dysfunction score of 0 had the lowest levels of NTproBNP (a median of 5047 pg/mL [3100–8668]) and lactate (a mean of 1.9 ± 0.5 mmol/L), while the group with a renal dysfunction score of 3 had the highest levels of NTproBNP (a median of 11,608 pg/mL [5080–18,580]) and lactate (a mean of 3.7 ± 2.8 mmol/L).
