As the overexpression of the oncogene Myc is commonly observed in HCC [35,36,37], and approximately 30% of human HCC samples exhibit Myc gene amplification [38]; we validated the SETDB1 expression levels by knocking out p53 and overexpressing Myc by HDT in FVB mice (Figure 3A). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
