MYL9 expression is lowered in cancer types such as breast cancer (BRCA), bladder cancer (BLCA), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), CC, and stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and it is higher in cancers such head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), and (GBM) glioblastoma, as documented in a cancer microarray database [29,32,34]. This evidence concerns the gene MYL9 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
