CBLN1 and cancer: Since the aim of our study was to determine the role of sphingolipid metabolism genes and the products that control proliferation, apoptosis, and the efficacy of cancer chemotherapy by changing their expression level in the placenta of pregnant women against the background of malignant neoplasm development, we examined changes in the expression of key genes of CER and S1P metabolism and its level, which may play an important role both in the development of oncology and pregnancy.
