Patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and the BRAF mutation showed higher mean thyroglobulin levels (45.2 ± 22.5 ng/mL) compared to those without the mutation (28.5 ± 14.0 ng/mL), suggesting more intense tumor activity or a larger tumor mass.
