Multi-adjusted ordinal logistic regression analysis revealed that NT-proBNP values >107 pg/mL (highest tertile) were associated with lower LVEF (OR 0.88, 95% CI 0.79–0.97) and a higher VE/VCO2 slope (1.26, 1.105–2.263), after adjustments for age, sex, obesity, and smoking. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and obesity disorder.
