In patients with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) or radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) that were followed for at least 5 years after the LP, patients with high CXCL13 indices were more likely to convert to clinically definite MS (82.4%) compared to those with low CXCL13 indices (10.0%). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL13 and myeloid sarcoma.
