Remarkable advances in drug development have been achieved in IBD treatment, including anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) drugs (infliximab, adalimumab, certolizumab, and golimumab), anti-integrins (vedolizumab and natalizumab), and antagonists to interleukin (IL)-12 and IL-23, comprising anti-IL-12/23 antibody (ustekinumab), anti IL-23A antibody (risinkizumab), and IL-23 p19 antagonist (mirikizumab).3 Here, TNF is linked to inflammatory bowel disease.
