Patients diagnosed with CRC who had lower exosomal CPNE3 levels exhibited significantly improved DFS [hazard ratio (HR): 2.9; 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.3–6.4; p = 0.009] and OS (HR, 3.4; 95% CI: 1.2–9.9; p = 0.026) in comparison to patients with greater exosomal CPNE3 levels [66]. This evidence concerns the gene CPNE3 and colorectal carcinoma.
