PAK2 and Familial prostate cancer: Similarly, PAK2 amplifications in lung (Yi et al., 2022) and prostate cancers (Goc et al., 2013; Somanath et al., 2023) suggest its involvement in dysregulated growth factor signaling pathways, such as the PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathways, which are commonly activated in these malignancies.
