Ablation of TRBC1/2 genes led to significantly higher amounts of TNF in response to the cancer cells (P =0.032 Figure 7F and P = 0.001 Supplemental Figure 5F), where there was no significant response (P = 0.13) from donor cells that had been transduced with the MC.7.G5 TCR without TRBC gene ablation (Figure 7F). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is cancer.
