A study on the combined use of dendritic cell vaccines and the apelin receptor antagonist ML221 in modulating Th1 and Th2 cell responses in breast cancer mice showed that the combined treatment significantly increased the ratio of Th1 cells while decreasing the ratio of Th2 cells in the spleen compared to controls, and it also reduced serum IL-10 levels 37. This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and breast carcinoma.
