ERBB2 and neoplasm: There were however disparities in outcomes for metro and rural patients when stratified by receptor status; specifically, rural patients with HER2-positive tumours (n = 28) fared worse in terms of overall length of survival (7.9 vs 9.7 years, U = 935, p < 0.05, r = 0.255), and were nearly three times more likely to die (OR = 2.87, 95% CI [1.08-7.82], p < 0.05) compared to their metro counterparts (Table 6).
