Similar to its effect on macrophages, montelukast treatment also significantly reduced the accumulation of CD4+ T cells (282/ACS in vehicle, 156/ACS in low-dose montelukast, and 99/ACS in high-dose montelukast, respectively), CD8+ T cells (154/ACS in vehicle, 65/ACS in low-dose montelukast, and 38/ACS in high-dose montelukast, respectively), and B cells (33/ACS in vehicle, 17/ACS in low-dose montelukast, and 10/ACS in high-dose montelukast, respectively) in aneurysm lesions compared with vehicle treatment (Figures 3(c), 3(d), and 3(e)). Here, CD8A is linked to aneurysm.
