CD4+ (control [C]: 50.9 ± 9.9 cells/mm2 versus lymphedema [LE] 100.3 ± 38.0 cells/mm2) (Fig. 2A) FOXP3+ (control [C]: 4.07 ± 2.13 cells/mm2 versus lymphedema [LE] 20.22 ± 12.79 cells/mm2) (Fig. 2C) and CD25+ cells (control [C]: 14.36 ± 8.12 cells/mm2versus lymphedema [LE] 21.10 ± 10.81 cells/mm2) (Fig. 2B) were found to be increased in lymphedema tissue versus the matching controls.
