Comparative analysis revealed that the delirium group had significantly higher values than the non-delirium group in terms of age (P< 0.001), mortality rate (P< 0.001), incidence of SCAP (P< 0.001), CCI score (P< 0.001), malnutrition (P< 0.001), polypharmacy (p = 0.018), blood glucose (P< 0.001), total cholesterol (p = 0.027), triglycerides (p = 0.004), blood urea nitrogen (p = 0.002), serum albumin (P< 0.001), hemoglobin (p = 0.002), C-reactive protein (P< 0.001), and FI-Lab (P< 0.001) (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and nutritional deficiency disease.
