Even after adjusting for possible confounding covariates, including age, sex, tobacco use, alcohol consumption, diabetes, hypertension, duration of dialysis, diastolic blood pressure, pulse pressure, FBG, HDL-C, hemoglobin, albumin and CRP, multivariate ordinal logistic regression analysis revealed that the TyG-BMI index remained significantly associated with CACS (odds ratio, 1.011; [95% confidence interval, 1.002–1.021]; P = 0.021). The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
