The non-ischemic stroke group had significantly higher C-reactive protein (76.76 ± 88.32 vs. 29.74 ± 51.49; p < 0.001) and significantly lower albumin (3.56 ± 0.72 vs. 3.80 ± 0.73; p = 0.035) levels than did the ischemic stroke group. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and ischemic stroke.
