Surprisingly, they were less likely to have heart disease (CAD, likelihood ratio 5.700, P = 0.017; CHF, likelihood ratio 5.466, P = 0.019; Figure 2d), reflecting the severity of the viral infection and the treatment guidelines at that time, patients with anti‐IFNα antibodies were more likely to receive steroids (P = 0.006; Figure 2e). This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and coronary artery disorder.
