The immunohistochemistry (IHC) and multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) of pre-treatment human CRC samples further validated that THBS2 was predominantly located at the CAFs areas and consistently higher in non-responders, irrespective of chemotherapy application, suggesting that THBS2 may contribute to primary therapeutic resistance (Fig. 3A-B and Figure S3A-C). The gene discussed is THBS2; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
