In addition to inhibiting the immune‐inflammatory response,[61] NR3C1 mediates resistance to platinum and small‐molecule drugs in lung and ovarian cancers.[62, 63] Recently, it was reported that glucocorticoids bound to NR3C1 and promoted neutrophil extracellular traps and cancer metastasis.[64] In GC, we found that SE‐driven NR3C1 served as the master TF promoting 5‐FU resistance, bringing out the caution of dexamethasone application in patients with GC undergoing chemotherapy. The gene discussed is TF; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
