-Synthesis of spherical Lf-coated Zn NPs with an average size of 230.8 nm and a zeta potential of −36.85 mV.-Prevention of viral entry through the inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 receptor ACE2 by the NPs.-Effective neutralization of viral particles with an IC50 of 16.84 μg/mL, along with inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 propagation in infected cells demonstrating an IC50 of 13.56 μg/mL.-In vivo efficiency in rat model evidenced by alleviated Bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis through reduced oxidative stress and modulation of overexpressed inflammatory and cytokine responses.
