Recognizing we compared its results with a full panel of immunoglobulins (IgG, IgA, IgM, C3, and fibrinogen) by DIF since recently it was postulated that a shaggy pattern of fibrinogen along BMZ in the absence of immunoglobulins and complement is the most characteristic picture in OLP [3,6]. The gene discussed is CD79A; the disease is oral lichen planus.
