Several lncRNAs have been discovered that modulate the metastasis of lung cancer such as metastasis‐associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript‐1 (MALAT1), HOX antisense intergenic RNA (HOTAIR), colon cancer‐associated transcript 2 (CCAT2), BRAF activated noncoding RNA (BANCR), microvascular invasion in HCC (MVIH), SPRY4 intronic transcript 1 (SPRY4‐IT1), cancer‐associated region long noncoding RNA (CARLo‐5), plasmacytoma variant translocation 1 (PVT‐1), brain cytoplasmic RNA 1 (BCYRN1), and antisense noncoding RNA in the INK4 locus (ANRIL) [11, 12]. The gene discussed is BCYRN1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
