SLFN11 and small cell lung carcinoma: reported that SLFN11 is predictive for both improved PFS and OS for Veliparib in SCLC; patients with SLFN11-positive tumors treated with TMZ/Veliparib had significantly prolonged PFS (5.7 vs. 3.6 months, P = 0.009) and OS (12.2 vs. 7.5 months, P = 0.014) (67, 68); thus, it is considered as a biomarker for poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) inhibitor (PARPi).
