WB experimental results showed that knocking down RFX5 significantly reduced the protein expression of stem cell markers (CD133, CD44, SOX2, and Oct‐4) and proteins related to the glycolysis pathway (HK2 and LDHA), as well as the expression of p‐AKT and β‐catenin in tumor tissues, while overexpression of STIL could reverse the inhibitory effect of RFX5 knockdown on protein expression (Figure 6D). The gene discussed is STIL; the disease is neoplasm.
