Additionally, the Hippo Pathway effector YAP1 (yes‐associated protein) has been shown to mediate resistance to RAF–MEK inhibitor therapy in NSCLC by suppressing the gene product of BCL2L1, the anti‐apoptotic protein BCL‐xL, together with MAPK signaling [42], highlighting the potential for the radiomic features identified in the present study to be used as non‐invasive, surrogate markers of BCL2L1 and MAPK1 and to ultimately predict potential resistance to therapy in NSCLC patients.
