We could see that S100A11 was significantly enriched in C0 FXYD5+ TCs, whereas overexpression of S100A11 in cytoplasmic and nuclear subcellular compartments was associated with tumor metastasis and poor prognosis in patients with CRC and meta-analyses demonstrated that the expression level of S100A11 in CRC tissues significantly elevated in CRC tissues, a marker gene for clinical use in identifying CRC (85, 86).
