As a result, TRAF4 can accelerate tumorigenesis,[39] metastasis,[36, 37] and therapeutic resistance.[34, 35] Our recent studies have elucidated that TRAF4 also plays a crucial role in glioblastoma by driving stemness and temozolomide resistance.[34] The underlying mechanism through which this occurs entails TRAF4 functioning as a scaffolding protein to facilitate USP7‐mediated deubiquitination, independently of its proteolytic catalytic activity.
