CBR1 and neoplasm: Interestingly, these drugs have been found to effectively inhibit tumor angiogenesis in vivo by acting on both CBR-1 and CBR-2, thereby inhibiting cancer growth, particularly by suppressing VEGF signaling via inducing endothelial cell apoptosis (Casanova, 2003; Blázquez, 2003; Portella 2003; Pisanti 2009; Grimaldi 2006; Sheik et al. 2023; Prateeksha et al. 2023; Faiz et al. 2024; Wang et al. 2019).
