Results from a relevant RCT (ALEX study) [37] comparing alectinib (also a next-generation ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor) to crizotinib in ALK-positive NSCLC, however unaffected by treatment switching, have shown an HR of 0.67 (0.46–0.98), a result that is relatively close to the ones we report in our analysis. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
