XCR1, also known as G protein‐coupled receptor 5 (GPR5), is a vital member of the GPCR family.[10] We hypothesize that XCR1 might be a new potential target for osteoporosis, but the functional roles between GWAS SNPs and XCR1 underlying the pathological mechanism of osteoporosis remain to be explored. This evidence concerns the gene XCR1 and osteoporosis.
