ROC curves were then used to assess the predictive potential of these key gene markers in prostate enlargement, revealing AUC values of 0.885, 0.874, 0.885, and 0.874 for DACH1, CACNA1D, STARD13 and RUNDC3B, respectively (Figures 4E–H). The gene discussed is CACNA1D; the disease is benign prostatic hyperplasia.
