Consistent with the results of TCGA data, the immunofluorescence results of the tissue microarrays showed that COL1A1 and LOX influenced the long‐term prognosis of both HCC and ICC and that higher expression levels of these collagen‐related molecules were associated with a worse long‐term prognosis in patients with primary liver cancer (Figure 1G). This evidence concerns the gene COL1A1 and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
