In total, results from this study point to the ability of the extracts and fractions of T. conophorum nuts to protect against inflammation associated with obesity by modulating the activity of upstream/ downstream anti‐inflammatory regulatory genes (PPARG and Adiponectin) and downstream pro‐inflammatory gene (TNF‐alpha) with efficacy in this order: ethanol whole extract > residue > ethyl acetate fraction. This evidence concerns the gene PPARG and obesity disorder.
