The results of this study showed that low expression of FAM96B is closely related to the poor prognosis of HCC patients, which is consistent with previous research results on the role of FAM96B in breast cancer.18 Our experiments also further revealed that FAM96B inhibits HCC progression by promoting apoptosis and inhibiting the proliferation of HCC cells. The gene discussed is CIAO2B; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
