SOX2 and esophageal cancer: Conversely, knocking down ST7-AS1 inhibits cell cycle progression.18 Furthermore, ST7-AS1 is overexpressed in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma, propelling carcinogenesis through the CARM1-Sox-2 axis signaling pathway.19 In this study, we found that ST7-AS1 is elevated in esophageal cancer, its significantly high expression influenced by lymph node metastasis and TNM staging.
