DNTT and atherosclerosis: Univariate Cox Proportional Hazards analysis for cardiac death in patients with HMs and STs indicated that BMI, diastolic blood pressure, troponin I levels, presence of atherosclerosis greater than mild, heart weight, right ventricle thickness, treatment with anthracyclines and topoisomerase inhibitors, targeted therapy antineoplastics, radiotherapy, and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT) expression were all significant factors in the risk of cardiac death.
