Among those phosphotyrosine peptides examined in both EML4-ALK + NSCLC cell lines, we identified a group of highly upregulated tyrosine kinases that belong to ERBB family members (EGFRY1110, ERBB2Y1248, ERBB2Y877 and ERBB4Y1284), insulin receptor (INSRY999), kinases such as AKTY315, focal adhesion kinases including FAK1Y576 and FAK2Y580, Janus Kinases (JAK1Y1034, JAK2Y570, JAK3Y980), T-cell signalling kinase ZAP-70Y319 and ZAP70Y493, and several adaptor proteins including PTPN11Y580, P85AY607 (PIK3R1), and EFSY253 (Fig. 1C–E). The gene discussed is INSR; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
