While its role has been extensively studied in tumor types like endometrial [16], cervical [17], and hepatocellular carcinoma [13, 18–20], its function in NSCLC remains poorly understood [21–24], and no direct deubiquitination of metabolic targets have been reported for USP39 in NSCLC yet.
