Several methylation markers for the detection of CIN3 and cervical cancer have been identified using targeted and genome-wide approaches including CADM1 [9], MAL [10], FAM19A4 [11], miR124-2 [12], DLX1 [13], ITG4 [13], RXFP3 [13], SOX17 [13], ZNF671 [13], PAX1 [14], SOX1 [14,15], ASCL1 [16], LHX8 [16], ST6GALNAC5 [16], GHSR [17], SST [17], ZIC1 [17], JAM3 [18], EPB41L3 [18], C13orf18 [19], ANKRD18CP [20], ZSCAN1 [20], DPP6 [21], RALYL [21], GSX1 [21], ATP10A [22], HAS1 [22], POU4F3 [23] ZNF582 [24] and TRH [25]. Here, TAFA4 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
