MARCKS and lung disorder: There is considerable knowledge about the chemical properties of MARCKS and fundamental cell signaling processes it is involved in, but relatively little is known about the functional outcome of MARCKS‐mediated signaling although it has been associated with neuronal development, cell migration, and proliferation, and secretary pathways, and peptide inhibitors against MARCKS are proposed to be an effective treatments for lung diseases and are currently in human clinical trials indicating it is druggable target.14, 15, 16
