METTL3 and cancer: A study from Cambridge showed the use of two laboratory‐synthesized METTL3 inhibitors to hinder the protein expression of the compound (RNA modifying enzymes) that have a role in acute myeloid leukemia (AML),302 and inference from the study is that if a disease like cancer could be treated, there are possibilities that METTL3 could assist as an agent in treating neurodegenerative disorders.
