IL15 and Alzheimer disease: Pathways related to altered immune function and inflammation observed in AD subjects48 were identified, including “immunogenic cell death,” “leukocyte extravasation,” and “IL‐15 production.” Further probing of pathways that may be altered according to brain amyloid status was conducted using the Reactome pathway database through DAVID (Fig. 5A), which highlighted pathways related to “DNA methylation” and “chromatin organization.” Additionally, a “defective pyroptosis” pathway was identified, possibly indicating processes linked to increased cell death.49
