As mentioned previously, calcium–mediated proteolysis may be associated with axonal cytoskeletal damage in patients with hydrocephalus.[35] Previous studies have also shown that dysfunction of the calcium‐binding protein Cetn2 could lead to hydrocephalus.[36] Our study also found that the calcium‐binding proteins calmodulin and PCDH18 were significantly upregulated in the ChP of PHH. Here, CETN2 is linked to Hydrocephalus.
