In another study, Cheng et al found that CASC11 exhibited a sponge-like function in facilitating the proliferation of liver cancer cells through miR-188-5P.[12] In addition, Zhang et al found that that CASC11 can play a direct role in activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway through its interaction with ribonucleoprotein K.[20] This pathway has significant implications in the progression and growth of colorectal cancer.
