Adjusting for age, sex, SBP, DBP, PR, lactate, Cr, Hb, DNI, AST, and ALT, the obesity group demonstrated a significant decrease in the prevalence of liver injury (OR: 0.553, 95% CI: 0.316 to 0.966), with a negative trend in the beta coefficients for the liver injury grade (−0.214, 95% CI: −0.391 to −0.037). Here, GSTM1 is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
