Aggressive B-cell lymphomas with the genetic rearrangements of MYC, BCL2 and BCL6 may show either a blastoid morphology or an intermediate morphology between Burkitt lymphoma (BL) and DLBCL or, in half of cases, may be morphologically indistinguishable from DLBCL, NOS. This evidence concerns the gene BCL6 and Burkitt lymphoma.
