Our findings also suggest that LP may benefit other common respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma via anti-inflammatory effects by reductions in these pro-inflammatory mediators, as TNF, CCL3, and granzyme B have all been implicated in playing important roles in the pathophysiology of asthma and COPD [39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46,47].
