The conducted analysis showed a significantly lower transcriptional activity of the TNF-α gene in patients with stable coronary artery disease with an ejection fraction below 50% compared to a significantly higher transcriptional activity of the studied gene in the group of patients with acute coronary syndrome with an ejection fraction above 50%, which may result from an intensified inflammatory process in the advanced stage of coronary artery disease. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and acute coronary syndrome.
